THANK YOU

Ngā mihi nui to everyone who joined us in Ōtautahi Christchurch. Through your presentations, questions, ideas, and conversations, you helped make this year’s gathering both an inspiring celebration of freshwater science and a clear call to action for the conservation and restoration of our unique freshwater systems.

The 2025 conference theme,“Fresh water in flux: challenges and opportunities in an uncertain world”, highlighted the dynamic and evolving nature of our freshwater ecosystems and their governance. This theme underscores the pivotal role of working together in addressing the complex issues affecting fresh water and emphasizes the importance of innovation in freshwater science and management

We are hugely grateful to our sponsors and exhibitors for their generous support and continued commitment to advancing freshwater research and management. We also acknowledge the dedication of the organising committee, whose vision and hard work shaped a seamless and enriching programme. Finally, a special thank you to OnCue for their exceptional conference coordination and behind-the-scenes expertise, ensuring the event ran smoothly from start to finish.

We appreciate your participation and hope the conversations, collaborations, and connections formed here continue to grow long after the conference has ended.

Ka kite anō; we look forward to seeing you next time!

Ngā mihi,
